Its compounds are able to directly neutralize free radicals, reduce the concentration of peroxide, repair oxidized membranes or even reduce the production of reactive species. Fig extract is a restorative active ingredient: it helps fight against aging of the skin.
- Restructuring power
The fig is a real reservoir of organic acids which are indicated for their stimulating action for the synthesis of collagen and on the proliferation of fibroblasts. The thickness of the dermis is thus greater and the skin more plump.
- Moisturizing power
The fig is rich in humectants which capture ambient humidity and contribute to the natural hydration of the skin. Also composed of film-forming compounds, the fig retains water in the skin and thus prevents dehydration.
