This body care product contains aloe vera, glycerin, olive squalane, coco glucoside, essential oils of blood orange and lemon myrtle :
- Aloe Vera – enhances the activity of Fibroblasts. Fibroblasts are special cells found in the skin that create fiber such as Collagen & Elastin. These Fibers give skin it’s structure and make it look fleshy and supple.
- Glycerin – is a humectant that provides moisture to the skin that helps maintain the outer barrier and prevent dryness or scaling.
- Olive squalane – hydrates, softens, protects and helps in the regeneration of skin, reduces wrinkles and assists in maintaining healthy skin
- Coco glucoside – is a non-ionic surfactant that is derived from renewable raw materials such as coconut oil and corn and fruit sugars and is completely biodegradable. Being the mildest of surfactants, Coco Glucoside is compatible with all skin types.
- Blood Orange essential oil- antioxidant activity is due to its flavonoids, anthocyans and vitamin C content. *Collagen synthesis stimulating activity. This activity is due to the vitamin C content of an orange. *Vessel-protection and venotonic activities. Flavonoids are vein-active and vessel-protective agents because they reduce the permeability and increase the resistance of blood capillaries.*Anti-microbial activity. This activity is due to the essential oil content of an orange.
- Lemon myrtle – essential oil has broad-spectrum anti-microbial properties, which helps in targeting body odour.
