The nine-day and eight-night trip to Italy starts from the south. My usual itinerary plan is to visit tourist-filled scenic spots for two days, and then go to uninhabited places to relax and relax among the plum blossoms and bamboos. The whole trip ends with the Amalfi Coast → Il Borro → Florence → Venice → Switzerland Lake Lucerne.
Day 1: Zurich Airport, Switzerland → Naples Airport, Italy → Amalfi Coast
The Amalfi Coast, known as the paradise on earth, is located on the Sorrento Peninsula in southern Italy. It has a jagged coastline, beautiful cliffs, slender beaches, delicious food and wine, and a large group of luxury villas of different styles.

One of the reasons I chose Hotel Piccolo Sant’Andrea this time is that the room in the other hotel I wanted to stay at, Monastero Santa Rosa Hotel & Spa, didn’t have floor-to-ceiling glass! When choosing a hotel, it is best to reach 5 stars. If you stay in Tanjie (non-city) area, you must have a spa, and the Agoda rating must be higher than 9 points or above. A score of 9 or above means good service. Poor service will definitely ruin the hotel, which is unnecessary. After comparing two more secluded hotels, I chose Piccolo because the other two were very expensive. Moreover, Piccolo is in the middle of the Amalfi Coast. It is convenient to go to Ravello in the east and Positano in the west. You can also visit the hotel to rest occasionally. The recommendations of the other two hotels will be mentioned below.

After a long-distance flight, I took more than 20 hours in the car and arrived at the hotel. I already had no battery. Fortunately, the hotel is picturesque and full of Italian style. Every corner is beautiful. My husband started a live broadcast to share it, and I just wanted to share with you some tips to help your exhausted skin instantly recharge the battery.

Day 2: Amalfi Cathedral → Ravello Town → Villa Rufolo
Because of Jetlag, I went straight to the thousand-year-old Amalfi Cathedral at 7 a.m. the next morning. It was built in the early 10th century. The outside of the church incorporates a two-tone stone building with Arabic architectural style. The inside is a typical 18th-century Baroque style. It attracts a large number of tourists and many new people come here to take wedding photos. There are three or four kittens in the church early in the morning. Enjoy the quiet and ethereal atmosphere of the church.

Don’t miss the exquisite elegance: the small town of Ravello

And you must not miss this small town – Ravello, located east of Amalfi. The first checkpoint when arriving at Ravello is breakfast! Instead of going to a brunch cafe, I would rather eat in a hotel where the food quality is guaranteed. Since vehicles cannot enter the square in the middle, after parking the car, I walked slowly to the restaurant in the Palazzo Avino hotel for breakfast: Breakfast by the sky in Rossellinis Restaurant (Ravello), where I ate on the terrace close to the coastline while enjoying the beautiful scenery. Rossellinis Restaurant itself is a restaurant with a good reputation. Many people come here for dinner, but I have breakfast here. Palazzo Avino is a very good hotel, belonging to World Leading Hotels, but it is very isolated. You have to go up a mountain to get to Ravello, which is like the Initial D. Unless you don’t want to go out for fun, it is not easy to stay at Palazzo Avino. next to Belmond Hotel Caruso They are all first-class hotels.

Don’t miss the hotel scenery, every location is also a standard photo phase. It’s difficult to sleep on the flagstones along the road with flip-flops. There are pop-up stores inside and outside the Lucky Hotel where you can buy shoes to replace and continue the journey. Take a look at the beautiful photos~

I really wanted to book a Mediterranean-style Hotel Le Sirenuse during this trip. The Michelin-starred restaurant inside is very attractive. Unfortunately, the reservations are too full and the price is as high as 13,000 per night (piccolo $7000). The room is very sunny! I will stay here next time if I have a chance! Be sure to book early.
Finally, to put an end to transportation options, we chose to take the train to Florence, the next stop on the Amalfi coast itinerary. We first went to Pompei The Ruin, then drove 3 hours to Stazione di Napoli Centrale, then took a 3-hour train to Florence Railway Station, and then drove to Tuscany (Il Borro). If we drove directly from Amalfi to Il Borro, it would only take 5.5 Hours, the train is twice as fast as driving. (If the journey is longer, you can also choose to stay one night in Rome)
