I also experienced the period of teenage rebelliousness, that is, when I was promoted to middle school in Primary 6, I had good grades in elementary school. I was divided into two classes, A and B. I usually ranked around tenth in Class A. After I was promoted to middle school, I changed from two classes to one, five, and seven grades. From the cosy environment, the school was suddenly filled with many people!
Boarding life in secondary school: lock everything up!

Although I went up with a group of friends, there were a lot of people I didn’t know in the boarding house (I already saw someone eating cigarettes in Form One!). In addition to meeting many new faces, there was another thing that I was very uncomfortable with, which was that things often disappeared. I have tried to keep at least two or three pairs of Air Max in my dormitory, and even a shoe rack is not enough. Later, although it was unhygienic, I still had to put my sneakers in the closet to prevent them from being stolen. My wallet and broken wallets would disappear if I didn’t lock them up! There is no such thing as a key in school. There is no lock in the classroom, no lock in the dormitory, and nothing needs to be locked. But when we go to middle school, we find that everything has to be locked… It is really not used to it😭😭😭😭😭

The main reason for the plummeting performance… is poor English?
Academically, the biggest difference was that I switched from my mother tongue to being taught in English. I was able to speak English in the third grade, but my English was very poor in the fourth to sixth grade. I couldn’t understand and had no interest in watching The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. It was miserable when I entered middle school. History, EPA, Science, Mathematics, etc. were also taught in English, so my grades became very poor… In the past, it was normal to score 80 or 90 on the exam, but suddenly it became 60 or 70 on the exam? ! I don’t understand at all what the separation of powers, administration, and legislation are at the EPA. It’s really an old idea.
The impact of music makes me lose my purpose

Music can be said to be a very important part of my study career. Saint Timothy is one of the top music schools. When I was in the first year of middle school, the music teacher decided to recuperate. Without participating in competitions, there was no goal to pursue. Although I changed from the second violin leader in elementary school to the first violin in middle school, but in the end, the contrast was really big, and there were some uncivilized rules. If you study music, you can’t participate in any ball games. At that time, I just started playing volleyball and I played very well! I felt that they were too overbearing, so I quit the entire music community and lost touch with music. It was a huge blow to me… I started learning piano in kindergarten and participated in many competitions. The teacher loved me very much. There were five or six of us who were the backbone of the music community. But after quitting, I saw the music team going to music camps and exchanges in Australia during the summer vacation. I felt very sad when I saw that.

Without the support of music, I played with some outsiders and became very lazy. I stopped studying at all. I would go skating on weekends, or go to YES! Station in Causeway Bay, or go home and listen to CDs, pop music, and “talk on the phone.” I want to share an interesting thing about dating⋯⋯
Understanding “talking about numbers” starts with “fighting for children”? 😂
After I was promoted to high school, I suddenly came into contact with many boys (many seniors). I was quite famous at that time because my sister and brother were both studying together. They knew that I was their younger sister. They paid a lot of attention to me, and for some reason, I got to know some of the “eldest sisters.” I remember that I liked a boy very much at the time. He practiced track with me. He was athletic and very stylish, but there was actually a girl competing with me for this boy! I didn’t like that girl myself, I thought she was very “pretty” and acted pitiful… Even the “eldest sister” didn’t like her, so she helped me to bully this girl, which was quite exciting. At that time, the entire main building was sealed off. , after clearing out the classroom on a certain floor, the lady asked me to “talk about numbers” with this girl😅 (Actually, I didn’t know what happened), so I told her: “Don’t get entangled with that guy anymore!” Later, after this incident, she stopped getting entangled with that guy, and I was also with that guy, and it was also Puppy love! Let’s practice running, haha~
Just one subject in Form 3 and turned into a good student?

Until the third year of secondary school, one subject ended my career as a bad student: Economics. I started to study demand & supply. In my eyes, they are common sense, inelastic and elastic. I could get 100 points without studying. Suddenly, my score in one subject was better than the first one in the exam. I thought my score could be that good! I started studying hard, because I found that besides sports, I was proficient in other things. It turned out that reading was something I could pick up, and I could pick up the whole study by following it. When I went to Form 4 or 5, my grades were very good, and I became a good student. Looking back now, it is difficult to deal with the rebellious period. Whether you want to succeed as a person or not, if you want to succeed early, you must mature early, there is no other way!
