Benefits
1. Zinc oxide (25%):
- A non-irritating and anti-inflammatory ingredient, offering broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection recommended for light to moderate protection during normal daily activities.
2. Hydrolysed tomato skin (lycopene):
- A potent antioxidant derived from hydrolysed tomato skin. It is more powerful than green tea in its ability to neutralise free radical damage, which leads to ageing, and cell destruction.
3. Meadowfoam seed oil:
- An excellent hydrator to lock in the skin’s natural moisture. Extremely biocompatible as similar composition to human sebum and highly stable.
Direction
Apply to the body prior to UV exposure. Pat onto the skin, do not rub vigorously. Not recommended as a facial moisturiser due to the slightly thicker texture. Re-apply ÜberZinc Body at two hourly intervals if exposed to longer periods of sun exposure.
ÜberZinc Body is recommended for broad-spectrum protection against moderate to harsh sun exposure and is recommended for general daily activities. It is not designed to be used as a primary sunscreen if you are outdoors for extended periods during peak UV times, swimming or near reflective surfaces such as water or snow. Protective clothing and broad-brimmed hats should always be considered over sunscreen as a primary defence.
